Thanks to our good friend, Scott Windsor, owner of Windsor Hombrew Supply Co. in Costa Mesa and Anaheim, California, we’re kicking off a new series we’re calling "Windsor Curated," featuring beers curated by the man himself, Scott Windsor. This week, we’re drinking four awesome beers from Belgium’s Brasserie De La Senne.

The biggest hurdle for the show since we started recording remotely was getting our hands on the same beers to drink together. We’ve pulled it off here and there by ordering beers from breweries who were selling online, but often times, a minimum of a case was required to be purchased in order to be shipped from the brewery, which then needed to be purchased by each of us (that’s a lot of beer), or one of us had to buy a case and distribute the beers accordingly. Basically, it was a pain in the ass. Now, not only does Scott handle the shipping and selection for us (you can buy beers online from his shop as well!) but he also lends us his knowledge of beer and hooks us up with stuff we might not normally buy or be able to get our hands on.

Keep your eyes open on our social media channels as we get beers from Scott. You too can purchase these beers from Windsor Bottle Shop and drink along with us during our live streams or while you’re listening to the show on your own schedule.

Thanks to Scott for the help and the awesome beers!

It’s pretty friggin’ hot in SoCal, but sometimes it’s nice to sit inside of an air-conditioned room and pretend it’s a nice, cool December evening, while drinking some warming Belgian brews.

Editor’s note: this last paragraph will just remain as-is for future posts until this lockdown is over.

We hope you’re safe. We know this sucks right now. We miss our friends and family, socializing, and even going for a run without having to wear a mask, but this is temporary and staying at home as much as possible, while also keeping our distance from others in public, is something we must all do. That being said, we live in a great time in history where we have a robust internet that allows us all to stay in contact, see each other’s faces, and even get together once a week for a virtual happy hour.

We’ll be recording episodes once a week from here out, which is actually pretty cool for those who normally can’t make it to our typical monthly recording sessions. We’ll be having guests on the show, trying new beers, and continuing to keep doing our thing the best we can. Thanks for sticking with us. We’ll get through this.

Now, on with the show!
