Episode 208 – Greg took a trip to Denver, Colorado for reasons we’re still not clear on, and brought back some awesome brews from TRVE Brewing and Funkwerks!

TRVE Brewing is finally available to purchase in Southern California! Therefore, we’re celebrating by drinking some tasty brews provided to us right from the source in Denver, Colorado. Greg was recently in the Mile High City (for reasons of which are still unclear to us) and stopped by TRVE to pick up some beers and talk to the very people who brewed them.

But the fun from Colorado doesn’t end there! Funkwerks also recently became available in Southern California as well, so we’re trying a couple of their staple beers and a few special bottles provided to Greg earlier last month.

The 4B Flight, Episode 3 – Today on The 4B Flight, a collaboration beer from Prairie Ales and Trve Brewing.

We are back with the third of six episodes for this week’s mini-episode-extravaganza that we call The 4B Flight. In case you missed what’s going on here, we’re releasing a new mini-episode of Four Brewers everyday for a week. Why? Because we like you.

Today’s beer is a special treat from Prairie Artisan Ales, made with their brothers and sisters in beer and metal (?), Trve Brewing out of Colorado. Coming in at 6.66% ABV (of course), this sour is a red ale made with black salt, peaches, brettanomyces and all kinds of other fun stuff. It’s quite interesting, and we all have differing opinions of the beer, and interesting beer makes for a hopefully interesting show.

Correction: We learned this morning that this version is NOT made with peaches. The beer that TRVE brewed is made with peaches.
