Season 4, Episode 8 – Firkfest is coming up, and we’re celebrating by drinking some tropical brews!

Firkfest 2017 is nearly upon us, and we’re gearing up for this year’s tiki-tropical themed event by drinking a plethora of fruity, topical inspired brews. What is Firkfest, you ask? It’s our very own Greg Nagel‘s annual cask ale festival in Anaheim, California.

We must say that for the most part, the beers on the show this week are tropically delicious, if that’s your thing. John does admit during the show, however, that drinking this much fruity, tropical goodness can be a bit taxing over time. It’s best to pace yourself when going to the island of tropics and mix up the styles a bit. Luckily, at this year’s Firkfest, you’ll be able to do just that, since there will be over 30 different casks of tiki-brew available!

It should also be mentioned that we are joined this week by our honorary fifth brewer, Natalie DeNicholas, who is also the host of our newest (soon to be) endeavor, Pink Beer Corner! Details about PBC will be coming soon, so be on the lookout.
