It’s Belgium Independence Week! Or, at least it was last week. This is cause for celebration! As if we needed and excuse to drink Belgian beers on the show, we’re drinking some classics from Belgium.

Season 4, Episode 25 – This week, we’re geeking out on homebrewing and drinking asparagus IPA…NO JOKE.

It’s been a while since we’ve done a legitimately hardcore homebrew episode on the podcast and this week, we’re going back to our roots with the help of Daniel Fernandez from Beancurdturtle Brewing, LLC.

You may have gathered from the title of this episode that we’re drinking actual IPA made with asparagus–yes, asparagus. Along with Daniel’s asparagus beer, we’re drinking four other really tasty brews that he crafted as a homebrewer, as well as beers that he designed for other craft breweries around the world. We also talk about Daniel’s history in craft beer and chat about beer styles and professional brewers that he has worked with over the years.
