This week, we’re diving even deeper into the world of cider and even trying some mead by way of Honey Pot Meadery out of Anaheim, California. If you’re unfamiliar with both cider and mead, simply put, cider is made from fermented apple juice and mead is made from fermented honey. The cool thing about each is that the flavors and complexities change with the variety of apples used, in the case of ciders, and the flowers that the bees pollinated, in the case of mead. But, before we get into the cider and mead, we’re evaluating a homebrew from 4B listener, Kyle Wells. Spoiler: Kyle is really dialing in his home-brewed hazy—it’s really good!
